International Internet Music Academy (IIMA) is an educational project of the BUU Music Agency aiming to further encourage and facilitate the globalisation of music education. In response to the contemporary demands of music business as well as the development of technology, the BUU has created a new type of a music school which would bring together teachers and students from all over the world via the internet.

The BUU is aware that there may be already a number of internet music courses currently available; however its goal is pioneering an entirely different kind of approach of a high international standard which - BUU believes - will pave the way for the future of educational music institutions on the net. While catering to all levels and ages, IIMA is to provide a great deal of extra opportunities for advanced students from different countries enabling them to improve their skills and prepare their careers under the guidance of world's prominent teachers.

The IIMA believes that by bringing a music institution to the world-wide web, and therefore by cutting down the time, the distance, and the expense, it meets the needs of a larger volume of music students who otherwise may not have had an access to studies abroad.
